Our community foster families went to Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend stay over New Year’s thanks to an extra special Memory Makers donation. They were able to spend time swimming and playing together, in addition to eating great food and enjoying several of their attractions.
“Great Wolf Lodge was such a blessing for the families at The Hill,” Community Coordinator Daisy Marquez said. “It was the first time we were all together outside of our neighborhood, and we had lots to do! All of the kids had so much fun.”
The families spent their days at the indoor water park, which includes several water slides and a lazy river. Children were able to spend time floating in the lazy river and tubing down the slides! They were also able to participate in yoga classes and other group activities.
Great Wolf Lodge also had special events for New Year’s Eve, including dance parties!
This experience was made possible through the generosity of donors like you, who give to our Memory Makers Fund. Memory Makers helps supplement the cost of things like family trips, sports equipment, activity fees, and more. It is designed to help children in foster care make memories with their families that will last a lifetime. We are so excited that this trip was possible for our families at The Hill. It was a great experience for children of all ages, and we are so grateful that they could spend this valuable time together.
