We are excited to announce the launch of both the new name and expanded core values for Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries.
Bill Atherton, Coyote Hill Chief Executive Officer, summarizes our journey with:
“A few years ago, Coyote Hill grew beyond its borders of Coyote Hill Christian Children’s Home in Harrisburg. We added advocacy, training, licensing, restoration, and prevention to our ministry throughout central and northeast Missouri. To capture these changes, Coyote Hill Christian Children’s Home became collectively and formally named Coyote Hill. Unfortunately, we found that this all-inclusive name did not effectively convey who or what we had become. For this reason, effective September 12, 2023, we are doing business as Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries instead of Coyote Hill.”
Why the Change?
The decision to change our name and expand our core values reflects our dedication to clarity about who we are and the expansion of our outreach. While our name and core values have evolved, our mission and unwavering commitment to serve children who are affected by abuse and neglect remains steadfast.

We have expanded our core values to encompass more of what we value in the kind of work we do and the dedication to our employees.
