At the heart of Coyote Hill’s work are children and families, supported by a community willing to walk alongside them. Looking back on 2025, we are humbled by the compassion and commitment of our donors, foster families, staff, and partners throughout Mid-Missouri who made this year of impact possible.
This year, Coyote Hill served 360 children, each one deserving safety, stability, and hope. Whether through foster care, reunification, adoption, or family support, every child’s story mattered.

In 2025, 216 safe foster homes were supported through Coyote Hill. Of those, 55 families were newly licensed, stepping into the calling of foster care and opening their homes to children in need.

Each new license represents more than a home, it represents stability, care, and A Safe Place to Be a Child.

This year, 211 Memory Makers requests were fulfilled for 82 families, creating lifelong memories for children in foster care. These moments, birthdays, family outings, and special experiences, remind children they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

Children also experienced healing and growth through connection with nature and animals. 104 children participated in equine services, logging an incredible 4,618 hours of equine riding. These hours fostered confidence, regulation, and trust in ways only these unique experiences can.
Family Connections remains at the heart of Coyote Hill’s mission. In 2025:
718
hours of supervised vists in the family connections home
35
children were reunified with their biological families
23+
children found permanency through adoption
Each step toward reunification or adoption is a reminder that restoration and hope are possible, and that families can heal when supported well.
CarePortal continued to connect churches and community members to meet real, urgent needs for children and families. This year, 113 requests were submitted, with 93 needs met—an 86.11% fulfillment rate. Through these efforts, 169 children and 277 individuals were served, creating an estimated $73,570 in economic impact and helping provide stability during critical moments.
Church engagement also grew significantly. Active churches increased from 13 in 2024 to 16 in 2025, while the number of churches newly connecting through CarePortal rose from 7 to 11. Each request met represents a community choosing to show up, offering practical support, dignity, and hope to families when it matters most.
None of this impact happens alone. Every hour, every home, every milestone is the result of a community committed to loving children well.
As we look ahead, we carry this impact with gratitude and continue our mission of ensuring every child has a safe place to be a child.
Thank you for being part of Coyote Hill’s 2025 story. We couldn’t do this without you.
