Celebrating Meaningful Moments at The Hill
We have a lot to celebrate at The Hill, our Foster Care Community in Harrisburg! It is always so joyful to experience winter at The Hill.
From sledding together during the first snow of the year to decorating the Christmas tree as a family, children are able to make holiday memories while experiencing safety and security. In addition to all of the holiday celebrations, there are also two meaningful moments that we would love to share.

One of our elementary school students recently was awarded Student of the Month for his class! This is a testament to this child’s hard work and perseverance as he worked to overcome some difficult challenges. We are honored to celebrate children’s success after they have experienced long-term stability and security! It’s amazing to watch this child continue to grow and thrive.
Another meaningful moment occurred when one child requested to listen to “Jesus Loves,” a song by Zach Williams. While he was listening to this song with our Youth Advocate, Minnah Collins, he shared that his time at Coyote Hill has taught him that no matter what is in your past and no matter the things that make you feel unimportant, God still loves you and chases after you. We are so grateful to witness moments like these where children are able to experience God’s love!
