This season, Coyote Hill is honored to partner with Subaru of Columbia through the Subaru Loves to Help initiative—an expression of Subaru’s long-standing commitment to supporting children and families in need. As the largest automotive supporter of Operation Warm®, Subaru and its retailers are making a meaningful impact by providing essential items like coats, shoes, and socks to children in communities across the country.

At Coyote Hill, this partnership has a very real and immediate impact. We are grateful to receive 132 brand-new coats for local foster children in need. These coats will help keep foster children warm during the coldest months of the year.
“With the cooler temps coming in, these coats will be critical for our children and families who need them. One thing we’ve always cared about here at Coyote Hill is that the outdoors helps provide healing for children.”

For the children we serve, many of whom have experienced uncertainty, a new coat represents more than just warmth. It’s a symbol of dignity, care, and reassurance that they are not forgotten.
Moments like these remind us how powerful community partnerships can be. When organizations, businesses, and neighbors come together, they help create the kind of environment where children can begin to feel safe again. A simple act, such as providing a coat, can help restore comfort, confidence, and hope during a season when those things are especially needed.
We are thankful to Subaru of Columbia and Operation Warm® for their generosity and for choosing to invest in foster children and families in our community. Their support strengthens our ability to continue providing A Safe Place to Be a Child. Together, we are creating more than warmth, we are creating moments of care that can leave a lasting impact on a child’s life.
