Love notes. We expect and hope for them on special occasions, like Valentine’s Day. They delight and surprise us at other times of the year.

Any parent will tell you that a note of love and appreciation from a child is one of the best gifts they can receive. Our Home Parents in Harrisburg, Missouri receive many. Some are cute and decorative; others pierce the heart.
We honor the confidentiality with which each note was written and leave out the authors and specifics. Yet our supporters need to know that our children desperately need love and care, and your support has made that possible for some of them in ways they never experienced before. We love, because He first loved us (1 John 4:19) and because your gifts, given in love, allow us to love these children the way God intended.

“When I tell you, ‘I love you’ I don’t say it out of habit or to make conversation. I say it to remind you that you guys are the best thing that ever happened to me. You gave me your time – the most thoughtful gift of all. Thank you. I want to say thank you for the patience you have with me. You stand by me, with all my faults and mistakes. I highly appreciate that. Thank you for always being there.”
“I love you guys because you have showed me you care and love me. This is hard to explain, but you are the mom and dad I have always wanted…You guys have showed me the most love I have ever had in my life. It is true. You guys are amazing, and I don’t ever want to lose you, ever…You guys are my life. I love you very much.
