From the time they welcome a child into their family, there are so many important moments that are shaped by attentiveness, encouragement, and love.

Recently, we’ve been able to see this in big ways and in small ways!
We have been overjoyed to celebrate several adoptions that have taken place so far this year, but we also love to celebrate the small moments and milestones as we watch children grow into the people God created them to be.
One example is a child in Hannibal who recently got his very first haircut!
Both of his biological parents were able to be there and witness this fun milestone alongside his foster parents. His biological mother received a lock of hair and a “First Haircut” certificate for him.
This was an amazing opportunity for both the biological and foster parents to commemorate a fun “first” together.
We are so proud of this foster family’s commitment to supporting and including the biological parents while they care for and support the child in their home.
