We want to introduce you to Scott and Susan Ashton, Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries Family Partners. Family Partners give a monthly gift to support the work of raising children in foster care. We recently asked Scott and Susan why they are Family Partners.
Scott and Susan heard about Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries around 18 years ago when Scott went on a father-son campout with John Gillman, a pastor at Harrisburg Christian Church. “On this campout, some Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries staff brought out kids to camp with us. My three sons and I were hanging out with Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries children and pastors, and we just had a blast and built relationships. That’s when I learned about the ministry.”

After learning about the work Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries does to help keep children in foster care in safe homes, Scott and Susan decided to give monthly. “Susan and I have a passion for kids and anyone who helps children come out of hard circumstances. We don’t have the ability to take in hundreds of kids who need a home. Supporting Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries is just a natural way to show love to children who need it.”
“What matters most is kids being loved – it literally changes the trajectory of their lives. To me, that’s what Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries is hoping to do,” Scott said. “If enough people give 25, 50, or 100 dollars a month – whatever they can give- you know you can really make a big impact.”
