Recently, a Coyote Hill family welcomed two boys into their home but had previously made arrangements for a vacation.
Two families provided respite to these boys, and got the chance to celebrate the youngest child’s first birthday!
They went above and beyond to celebrate this birthday in meaningful ways. One respite provider shared that this experience was very impactful.
“He will never remember his first birthday, but I won’t ever forget it!” the respite provider shared. “I hope [both boys] felt so loved today. I don’t know where life will take him, but I put his 1st birthday banner, balloon, candle, and some photos in an envelope. I hope if they [reunify with their] bio mama she can have it and be a little part of the day. Thank you for letting us be a part of this!”
