Ruthie Riley is a 10-year-old Columbia, Missouri resident with a heart for baking and children. She launched her business, Ruthie’s Little Bakery, at the beginning of 2020. Ruthie’s mom Kara says Ruthie was baking all the time – so much so that their family of six couldn’t keep up with all the treats. They decided Ruthie’s baking could provide an opportunity to raise money for a good cause.
Ruthie is the oldest of four children. She has an 8-year-old sister, Ayla, and two little brothers, Abhi (5) and Sandeep (6). Abhi and Sandeep were adopted by the Riley family from India. Since starting her cupcake business, she has donated all proceeds to other families pursuing adoption.
