COYOTE HILL ANNOUNCES NEW CEO
Larry McDaniel, Founder of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries, is transitioning towards retirement and passing the torch as CEO of the ministry. Bill Atherton, current Chief Operating Officer, has agreed to become the next Chief Executive Officer in his place. Larry will assume the role of Founder of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries.
Bill Atherton has been with Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries since 1995 and has played a pivotal role in the organization’s success and growth. Bill and his wife, Tammy, served at Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries as Home Parents for nine years. During that time, he completed his Master’s in Social Work and became a licensed therapist. After retiring from being home parents, Bill transitioned to the Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries administration. Bill has served as Development Director, Program Director, Site Director, and most recently Chief Operating Officer.
After more than 30 years as the CEO of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries, Larry is ready to step back from the day-to-day operations of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries, and focus on growing the Equine Program and advising on future property developments.
“I will be forever convinced that God called Bill and Tammy to Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries 26 years ago. They accepted the challenge, and the rest is a wonderful history of perseverance, growth, dedication, purpose, and an amazing endurance for pursuing the advancement of the kingdom of God. I watched it all from the very beginning to this very day, and I stand in awe.”
