Over 375 people joined together on Friday, October 18, 2019 with the motivation to “change family trees” through the work of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries in mid-Missouri. In those three hours of time, almost $157,000 was raised!

Our 13th annual Boots ‘n Bids, presented by Robinson + Ries Orthodontics, was about changing lives now and family trees in the future. Yet it’s also a great evening of fun! Online bidding kept our guests consulting bidding stations and their smart phones often. A new raffle opportunity this year, available to guests and online bidders (if they had a representative present) was the opportunity to pre-purchase a live auction raffle ticket. The winner of this raffle was then able to choose their choice of one of the live auction items before the live auction began!

This year, our event was held at The Crossing, one of our faithful Church Partners. This enabled us to host several more people than in years past. Attendees were treated to a country style meal complete with homemade pies, catered by bleu Events. An exciting highlight of the meal occurred as caterers and Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries staff began launching rolls to the dinner guests.

Daniel Burke-Aguero and Jordan Thomas performed live Americana music throughout the evening. Aric Bremmer of Zimmer Radio and Larry Atterberry with Atterberry Auction kept the action going during the live auction.
Perhaps the highlight of the evening was the viewing of Cosmic Sauce‘s latest video production about one of our former residents, Michael Lorimor. We hope you’ll take a moment to view and witness firsthand the impact that your continued support has had, and continues to have, on the lives of our children and their future families.

We are truly grateful for each and every individual and business that made this event possible. Your generosity not only made for an outstanding event, but more importantly has contributed to lasting changes in children’s lives. Your support at Boots ‘n Bids and all throughout the year gives children a safe place to be a child, it gives them the courage they need to face another day, and it gives them the chance to change their family tree. Thank you for making Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries “A Safe Place to Be a Child.“
