2026 Spring MO C.A.R.E. Foster Parent Training (CLOSED)

Spring: February 12th - April 16th (Thursdays)

5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (all sessions required)

First and last session in-person, all other sessions will be held virtually. Dinner will be provided for in-person sessions.

The first step toward becoming a foster or adoptive parent is completing the assessment and training program. All foster and adoptive parents are required to complete the MO C.A.R.E. training.

This program introduces prospective foster and adoptive families to the rewards and challenges involved in caring for Missouri’s most vulnerable children, including trauma-informed parenting strategies.
