This year, generous Coyote Hill donors provided school supplies for over 220 children in Columbia, Hannibal, Harrisburg, Jefferson City, and Moberly this year! We are so grateful for the amount of individuals, families, churches, businesses, and organizations in our communities who went above and beyond to provide every essential item children needed to start the school year with success.
From providing pencils to choosing a special backpack, school supply sponsors were so thorough and paid careful attention to what the child needed.
When one child saw her backpack, her foster mom asked her if she liked it. She responded, “Like it? I LOVE it!”
As a Coyote Hill donor, you provide more than just school supplies. Your support gives children in foster care stability to stay in the same foster home for longer periods of time. On average, a child in a Coyote Hill home stays in the same home three times longer than children in non-Coyote Hill supported foster homes.
For two children in Moberly, this means that they were able to go back to the same school they attended last spring, after needing to move 7 times the previous year. They were so excited to see familiar teachers and friends on Back to School Night. Your support helps Coyote Hill foster families provide consistency and stability for the children they care for!
