Our 12th annual golf tournament at the Country Club of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri included a simple, yet touching new addition this year for each of our players.
As each player showed up at the registration table, they were given a sticker to wear. The sticker simply said, “Today, I’m playing for ______” and it listed the name of one of our children, their age, and something the child enjoys. It was touching to see the reactions as players realized that their time and support at our golf tournament was not just for Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries as an organization, but for a specific and precious child. A few players even expressed concern that they might not play well enough and may disappoint the child. Those were quickly reassured that scores didn’t matter; they were already heroes by being a part of the tournament!
This year’s tournament was a record setting day in so many ways.

I am always amazed by the generosity of our players. Each year they play to make a difference in the life of a child and this year was another amazing year!”
