Feeling Thankful at Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries
As we celebrated Thanksgiving, there was so much we had to be thankful for at Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries. We are so grateful for each of our foster families who have made the courageous and sacrificial decision to welcome children into their home and provide a safe place for them to connect, play, and be a child.
We are grateful for our network of volunteers who provide meals, transportation, and prayers for our families and the children we serve.
We are grateful for all of our donors and supporters. You unselfishly donate your time and resources to help this ministry continue to flourish, so we can continue to serve children and families.
And, we are grateful for a group of donors who went above and beyond to ensure our families had the food they needed to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Jessica Kempf, Sales Manager with Weichert Realtors, and donors from the Hallsville Optimist Club and Hallsville Masons stepped up this Thanksgiving to provide the families we serve with hams, turkeys, sides, and pies.
They worked to secure over 30 hams and turkeys for our families, as well as 62 pies! Our family advocates delivered food to families, or coordinated with them to make sure they had what they needed this Thanksgiving.
Holidays can be very complicated for children in foster care. As our families work to navigate this season with care and intentionality, it can be extremely helpful to have things like this taken care of, from details as small as dessert to as big as a Thanksgiving turkey. Thank you, Weichert Realtors and Hallsville Optimist Club.
