Coyote Hill’s Spooktacular Halloween

Spooky season is always a great time at Coyote Hill!

This year, we kicked off the Halloween season by dusting off our Mystery Mobile and channeling our inner “meddling kids.” Our Columbia Foster Care Services team dressed up as the Scooby Doo gang for Boone County Children’s Division’s Trunk or Treat. We can’t imagine a better way to connect with our amazing foster care community than by handing out Scooby Snacks to excited trick-or-treaters.

Meanwhile at The Hill, our kiddos got their hands messy with a fantastic pumpkin decorating session during the After-School Program! We’re so grateful to Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue for their thoughtful donation of pumpkins for our children to paint, carve, and decorate. We had friends from Mizzou’s Christian Campus House help us carve and decorate these pumpkins on Monday!

It’s heartwarming to see how a simple activity like decorating pumpkins or dressing up in costumes can bring so much joy. We are thankful for so many sweet moments to share this week! Happy Halloween from Coyote Hill!
