Christmas Break Memories

You helped make our children’s Christmas break a memorable one! Everything from exciting new toys to lifetime experiences, it provided lots of “ooo” and “ahh” moments that are difficult to capture with words.

Dream come true; Disney on Ice |
A dream come true: dressed as her favorite, Princess Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog”, she attended a Disney on Ice event!

That’s why a picture is worth a thousand words, right? So enjoy a few thousand words via these photos from our recent holiday season.

boys in police car |
Two boys received a police car to share and have done a great job sharing it.  They’re in “hot pursuit” of another boy who received a hover board.
unicorn tent |
She slept in her unicorn tent almost every night during Christmas break.
Kona Ice CoMo |
Incredible surprise. Kona Ice visited each home on Christmas day, giving away free snow cones!
For three children in The Petersheim Home, an outing to SkyZone on the day before school started was their first time going.
KC Chiefs fan |
Just what every KC Chiefs fan dreams of…tickets to a Chiefs’ game!
Unicorn PJs |
You just can’t have enough unicorn stuff.
Our two gymnasts get to practice at home now!

Rebecca Buchholz, Equine Program Manager, concludes, “As happens almost every Christmas season, Coyote Hill took in some emergency placements just two days before Christmas. Children whose biggest gift this holiday was a warm house and a bed where no harm would come to them. The peace and assurance of safety

One of the most amazing things about my job is that we not only get to provide the children with that physical safety, but we get to share the gift of spiritual safety with them. A life that rests in the peace of Jesus Christ, who left the safety of heaven to come to earth and be born to a couple who would have to seek safety in a stable. He continued to sacrifice His safety when He died on the cross so that our souls can forever rest in safety in Him. May we all seek safety in Him this new year.
