Celebrating New Foster Families in Columbia, Jefferson City, and Hannibal

Sixteen families graduated from foster parent training in June from Columbia, Jefferson City, and Hannibal!

Hannibal MO C.A.R.E. graduates.

These families have completed 30 hours of training, and now they are ready to wrap up their licensing journey and begin welcoming children into their homes. We are so excited for them to continue their fostering journey!

“We have been able to build a relationship with them and see their heart and passion for foster care in our community,” Brittany McCaskey, Hannibal Area Coordinator, shared. “The families are looking forward to serving and making an impact. We are also excited for the foster parent’s extended family. Most of our class have strong family networks. By these households becoming foster homes, they are impacting their parents, siblings, and friends. This creates more awareness of local needs and how Coyote Hill supports families!”

Will you join us in praying for these families?

Pray for peace and discernment amidst nervousness or anxiety as they consider welcoming a child into their home. Please pray that they will have confidence in the ways that they have been called to care for children. Pray that the family is the right fit for the child and they can begin to have healthy attachments and smooth transitions.
