2025 Moms & Mizzou Football Wives Christmas Dinner
This holiday season, Mizzou Football Head Coach Eli and Lindsey Drinkwitz hosted a very special Christmas Dinner for Coyote Hill Foster Moms and Mizzou Football Coaches’ Wives, creating a memorable evening of joy, community, and holiday cheer. The event was designed to honor and celebrate the incredible women who give so much to the children in foster care.
The evening began with a welcome from Lindsey, a prayer from her daughter, then a delicious, festive dinner, where foster moms and coaches’ wives were able to relax, enjoy great food, and connect with one another. It was a chance for these amazing women to take a well-deserved pause from their busy lives and spend time with people who understand and appreciate the work they do every day. Laughter, conversation, and holiday spirit filled the room, setting the tone for a truly special night.
In addition to a delicious meal, guests were treated to an exclusive shopping experience at Hockman Interiors, where they could select new clothing, or home décor items. The shopping experience had only two rules: 1. you must spend your whole gift card tonight; and 2. you must shop for yourself. The shopping opportunity allowed foster moms to treat themselves, and enjoy the excitement of the season in a thoughtful, meaningful way.
Events like this are more than just a Christmas celebration, they are a powerful reminder of community, support, and gratitude. By bringing foster moms together alongside coaches’ wives created a space where women could learn from each other, make new friends, and be encouraged, for the incredible role they play in the lives of children in foster care or on the football team.
We are deeply grateful to the The Drinkwitz Family for their generosity and heart for foster families. Also a huge thank you to Hockman Interiors for helping make the evening extra special. Moments like this show how meaningful it is when a community comes together to celebrate and support one another.
Here’s to continuing to lift up and celebrate those who give so much, not just during the holidays, but all year long!

On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Mizzou Football hosted the second annual Night of Champions event for foster and adoptive families in the community. This event was one of our favorite memories from last year, and many children have been counting down the days for this year’s Night of Champions. “One of our kids—every time I […]
