There are nearly 15,000 children in foster care in Missouri. Not everyone can be a foster parent, but everyone can help a child in foster care. Together, we can change the landscape of foster care.
For 30 years, Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries has worked to keep kids safe. Keeping kids safe means providing resources to license foster parents, giving children secure homes to live in, and providing advocates to walk through life with foster families.
We were so excited to have a ribbon cutting for our new Jefferson City Home in July of 2021! This home will be able to welcome up to 6 children at a time.
Hosting a respite night allows an evening of fun for children, while also giving their parents a few hours to themselves.

On Monday, November 9, we wrapped up our final session of STARS for 2020 with a graduation.

For as long as Joseph and Elaine can remember, they have wanted to foster. Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries came into their lives at just the right time.

In August 2020, we opened our seventh house on Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries’s property: The Ubl Home. We are so grateful to Jerry and Maggie Ubl!

Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries may have been the only organization doing this during the pandemic, but our first fully online STARS class graduated on June 9, 2020!

Tuesday, January 14th, 2020 was a day of celebration for Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries as we celebrated the launch of Foster Care Services in Columbia.

Michael’s journey to Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries was not an easy one. From foster care to a foster parent, watch Michael’s courageous journey.
The film follows a mother and son who overcome great adversity to find happiness. To bring this story to life, we worked with Cosmic Sauce and some very talented local actors. It is a poignant story about the power of love.
