Pancake Breakfast 2015 Raises Most Funds Ever

LOTS of people lined up to eat – and support our kids!

The Pancake Breakfast is one of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries’s longest standing traditions. With around 700 served this year – it was definitely one of our best!

This was the first event for our new Volunteer and Event Coordinator, Liza Thompson. She had this to say following the breakfast:

For my first event – it was a blast! It wouldn’t have been possible without all the people who served that morning, and all of those who came to enjoy pancakes. I loved meeting new people and seeing the community come together for a great cause — supporting our kids. The breakfast was a success, raising $7,135 so our families will be able to plan fun recreation activities this year!”

The live musical entertainment was fun and varied. The Hubbell Home joined the line-up, as Home Parents Nick and Brittany Tinney led all of their kids in two a capella songs. One young lad in the home has always struggled with stage fright, but he was willing to face his fears for the good of the cause! One sweet lady, who said she’s been a supporter for many years, told Nick afterwards that it was one of the best performances she’s ever heard at the pancake breakfast.

Those encouraging words from the morning are always “music to our ears.”

Thanks for your support of our kids!
