In spite of the heat, our annual Open House event attracted several of our faithful supporters, as well as some new friends. The afternoon began with a yummy meal provided by Lutz’s BBQ, and continued with many other relaxing and entertaining options, such as hay rides, Snowie Shaved Ice treats, glimpses of our current homes as well as The Atherton Home under construction, horse rides, and great games for the kids.
We couldn’t have pulled it off without the help of MANY volunteers. Thanks so much to those of you who helped serve the meal, keep the coolers full, supervise the kids’ games and clean up afterwards.
We love getting the chance to host our family of supporters – many thanks to all of you who took the time to come spend the afternoon with us!
