Forever Loved

Columbia’s COMO Living magazine recently interviewed our Executive Director’s wife, Denise McDaniel, for a feature story. It begins, “Denise McDaniel’s story is a series of lessons on heartbreak and healing. She’s still teaching those lessons to her big family at Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries Christian Children’s Home.”

In the article, Denise shares how her upbringing by parents who cared for hundreds of foster children was just one of the many ways God prepared her for marrying the Executive Director of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries. During those first few years, she gladly accepted our title of “Executive Director of Odds and Ends,” jumping right in to serve in any way that she could.

Today, Denise has been promoted to the title of “Grandma Denise.” If a child has a bad day, Larry will bring him or her home to get some one-on-one grandma time.

Please take a moment to read the article in its entirety here. You’re guaranteed to find out some things about Larry and Denise and Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries that you probably never knew.
