#ForColumbia2016 is #ForKids!

For a second year in a row, Columbia area churches organized a huge volunteer service day, known as #ForColumbia. The event tripled in size from last year…34 churches represented and over 1,600 volunteers!

Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries benefited greatly from the project, as about 170 volunteers spent the day with us. It would probably be easier to tell you what they didn’t do than to try and list all of the many projects they DID do…but here is just a sampling. Painting, landscaping, gardening, power washing homes and decks, cleaning vehicles, building book shelves, cleaning inside the homes and out, preparing several freezer meals…and the one our kids will remember most? Taking advantage of the lovely spring day by hosting all sorts of field day games and activities with our kids!

No amount of thanks can express how grateful we are for everything that #ForColumbia accomplished and donated for us. What a huge blessing you were to us and our children. THANK YOU!

Take a moment to glance through the photos on our Facebook page for a sampling of the work and play that happened on Saturday, April 23rd.
