Sunshine. 70 degree weather. Lots of friends and family. Could an Open House event have been any more perfect and inviting? We didn’t think so, and neither did several of you, judging by the crowd that showed up on Sunday, September 9th.
Of course, there were the added benefits of a delicious BBQ provided by Pete Cummings, live music by Fully Persuaded, washer games, cotton candy, a bounce house, face painting, horse rides and last but not least – a hayride tour of our property!
No re-cap of the day would be complete without some well-deserved thank you’s. First, thanks to our faithful supporters who came out for the afternoon. Also, to our fantastic volunteers who helped do everything from painting kitty cat faces to emptying trash cans. Special thanks to Inovatia Labs and the Cummings family for being the food sponsor, to Head Motor Company for providing our huge tent, and to Fully Persuaded for providing wonderful music. Thank you ALL for making the day such a blessed and successful event.
