Generosity and blessings happen each and every day at Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries. Sometimes they come from the most unlikely places. Home Parent Dad from The Atherton Home, Brian Wallace, explains:
“A few days ago, I called Lifetime, a nationwide equipment & sporting good supplier, to order a part that would allow us to raise and lower our basketball goal. Darrin from Lifetime was kind and patient with me as we were trying to figure out the proper part. After a 20 minute conversation, I was ready to order. I was not expecting what came next.
“I asked the cost, and he asked again where I worked, as earlier in the call I mentioned that I work for a children’s home. He then said the cost would be zero. I asked to confirm, and he again said zero. I was overjoyed, as it was a $75.00 part plus shipping. He explained that while he had been reading his Bible that morning, God reminded him to serve those who serve. Thus, he felt led to give rather than receive. I thanked him several times, and wanted to share this blessing with others!”
