Why We Give

As you consider your year-end giving, we would like to share this video from our donors’ perspective. Our supporters are folks like you, giving of themselves and their resources to support their families, church and community.

They are committed, faithful people who are making a difference.

In the video, we hear from Pete and Brenda Cummings, supporters of Coyote Hill from it’s inception, and donors David & Renee Munns who have been monthly supporters of Coyote Hill for several years. We call these monthly supporters “Parent Partners.”

“I’ve been able to be a part of Coyote Hill since the very beginning, financially and in other supportive ways. Larry and Cathy had such a vision for this that we wanted to be a part of it, too.

“In the early days of the board meetings, some of the time we spent the entire time praying for God’s provision, [as we weren’t] sure where milk was going to come from. Year after year, I have seen the momentum changing. People understanding, and with that, the number of folks who have been called to give and are able to give has increased.”

David Munns states, “Renee and I started giving about 10 years ago, at a time in our lives when we really didn’t have a lot of money, but we really felt strongly about the Coyote Hill mission. I believe it’s our duty as Christians to step up and give of what we’re blessed with.”

Renee concludes, “When I first heard of Parent Partners, I thought it was a great idea. You know it’s going to impact the children and the homes. I have four kids; I know what there is to pay for when you run a home. Being a Parent Partner is so easy to do and so beneficial and so appreciated. It could be any amount per month. It’s not the amount, but your consistent, faithful giving that is going to impact the kids.”
