The crowd varied greatly, including sprinters, runners pushing strollers, grandparents walking with grandkids, parents toting young ones, expecting moms, canines and toddlers. One especially determined young lad crashed at a turn right before the finish line, but promptly hopped up and finished well. That inspiring spirit was exemplified many times over throughout the race.
Including our Coyote Hill staff and kids, over 300 participants finished the race, as well as several “tag-alongs” in strollers and on leashes. Following the awards ceremony, Veterans United Foundation presented Coyote Hill with a check for $3,000!
THANK YOU, Veteran’s United! Also – thank you participants and volunteers – we couldn’t do it without YOU!
