Coyote Hill was approved for state tax credits under the Youth Opportunities Program (YOP) by the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED).  The approved application awards Coyote Hill with $218,059 of Missouri state tax credits. 

Specified donations made July 1, 2010 — June 30, 2012 are eligible for 50% tax credits. ($1000 minimum)

All donations made as YOP credits will fund the Success For Life program.  Success For Life encompasses the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program, Independent Living Program, and Life Skills Program taught at Coyote Hill.  Each program is tailored to suit each individual child’s needs, and provides them with the skills necessary to become successful, contributing members of society.

Development Director, Kari Salmon commented: “This is a huge blessing for our organization.  These tax credit donations are vital to maintain all that we can offer the children.  It not only funds the cost of materials and supplies, but also each of our Home Parents’ salaries.  We definitely couldn’t run a ministry without such wonderful Home Parents!”
